Ouah
Preserving what a model carries forward.
Ouah explores how a model can retain the internal information it develops, preserve what that information allows it to do, and make it available again when needed.

A foundation for memory
Ouah began with an investigation into memory and continuity as information changes.
The central question became: could a model retain information faithfully and make it available for later use?
A model's internal state influences the decisions it makes. Preserving that state creates a foundation for retaining something useful from an earlier encounter and bringing it into subsequent work.
We built Ouah to investigate that foundation, exploring what a model can retain and recover as its work continues.
Preserving decisions
The experiments demonstrated faithful preservation of model states and their associated decisions.
In recorded tests, recovered decisions matched the original decisions throughout. The research also demonstrated exact recovery of the states.
These results established two useful achievements: preserving the decisions associated with a state, and recovering the state itself precisely.
What the model had carried remained available, with its behaviour intact.
Bringing memory back into use
Memory becomes useful when it can be recovered after it has been stored.
Ouah demonstrated faithful recovery after storage. The recovered states and decisions agreed with the originals in the recorded experiments.
The work also demonstrated preservation on states produced by a trained model. This connected the research to the internal information arising during an actual model's operation.
Together, these experiments established a working basis for storing model state and recovering it for further use.
Working across different information
The research examined memory across written material, code and structured data, including mixtures of these forms.
Across these mixtures, Ouah preserved the measured decisions and supported exact state recovery. This extended the work beyond a single kind of information and provided a foundation for investigating memory across more varied encounters.
These results give the research a concrete direction for exploring greater capacity alongside faithful recovery.
A basis for continuity
More widely, Ouah investigates how models carry useful internal information forward.
Its achievements provide a foundation for investigating how memory can become a dependable part of a model's continuing development: available after storage, faithful when recovered and useful across different kinds of information.
The research ahead concerns extending that foundation to richer model states and more demanding uses, building on the preservation and recovery already demonstrated.
Retaining what matters. Recovering it faithfully. Making continuity possible.
