Leadership

Research, design and technology all begin in the minds of ordinary people.

“Oliver and Fraser have been friends since their early teens. Both were driven, but they followed different paths: Oliver into technology, design and research, and Fraser into aviation testing and business. Years later, they reconnected at a point where their ideas aligned. Their minds came together, and so did their names, creating Forlais.”

“That moment when everything comes together and the result is the one you’ve been searching for. That’s the moment you know that it was all worth it.”

“Knowing what’s planned for the year ahead, I’m confident EvaEsi won’t just compete with the industry leaders. It’s going to force them to rethink what they thought was possible.”

Ikigai, a reason for being

Ikigai is the Japanese word for what makes life worth living. It joins iki, life, with kai, worth.

It is drawn as four circles: what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs and what you can be paid for. Where all four meet is ikigai.
