Design the channel-by-channel strategy that carries Forlais research, platform, and project releases across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging surfaces.

The Strategist owns the plans that the Head of Social Media and the wider communications group execute against. The role analyses what is working, sets channel posture, defines the editorial standards for each surface, and recommends when to add or retire a channel.

Responsibilities

Design quarterly social plans per surface (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads, others).

Define editorial standards, tone, cadence, and stand-down rules per channel.

Track and report channel performance against agreed institutional metrics, not vanity metrics.

Recommend channel additions, deprecations, and structural changes with written rationale.

Coordinate with Press, Research communications, and EvaEsi platform on cross-surface launches.

What we look for

Four or more years in social strategy for organisations that publish under public scrutiny.

Comfortable defending or revising strategy on the basis of measured outcomes, not opinion.

Strong written communication and the ability to operate without micromanagement.
