A research engineer role inside Forlais Research. The role implements, measures, and iterates on architecture work across compression, neural architecture, and long-horizon systems. The role is research-first; results are released selectively.
Responsibilities
Implement new architectures, training procedures, and analysis tools alongside research staff.
Maintain reproducible training and evaluation pipelines for the assigned programme.
Write up internal reports to research-integrity standards (FOR-POL-002, FOR-POL-006).
Contribute to selected publication work; respect the release-review process (FOR-POL-204, FOR-POL-007).
What we look for
Strong applied research background; experience with modern model training pipelines.
Mathematical fluency: linear algebra, probability, optimisation.
Track record of shipping research code that other researchers can build on.
Comfort working under formal research integrity and authorship standards.
