The Head of Social Media leads how Forlais shows up in public. The role works directly with research, platform, and project leads to plan how each release lands externally, holds editorial control over the social estate, and writes copy when copy needs writing rather than only directing.

Responsibilities

Set the public social posture for Forlais Group, Forlais Research, EvaEsi, and the investor channels, in line with FOR-POL-403.

Plan and run the publication calendar across each surface, with clear stand-down rules during release reviews and incident periods.

Write and edit copy directly. The role is hands-on, not a brief-passing role.

Build a small distributed bench of contributors (community, video, design) and direct their work.

Run public response in coordination with Press and the on-call communications lead during incidents.

What we look for

Five or more years running public social presence for a research-oriented, regulated, or otherwise sensitive organisation.

Strong written craft. Examples will be requested.

Comfortable working inside a release-controlled organisation where some material cannot be discussed.

Experience working with technical contributors and translating their work into accurate public copy.
